Return of the Dawi

So I came back. And much earlier than anticipated!

My boredom with SWTOR accelerated and I unsubbed early in May. Not going into too much detail for the reasons here, but safe to say that end-game with little PvP gets boring eventually (and I’m not a fan of re-doing dailies). I’d started playing Age of Conan before this, which is a fantastic game. But it soon became apparent that it was the PvP and world of Warhammer that I was missing most. So I activated my 14 days and returned just as patch 1.4.6 went live.

My gaming hours are not extensive at the moment, largely due to Euro 2012 being on the TV most evenings, but I’ve given WAR some good hours recently. The game seems in good shape and the population seems very healthy. I’ve probably spent as much time in the lower tiers as I have in tier four so far. I’ll save details of my impressions so far for another post, but to summarise I’d say: tier four seems more balanced and scenarios are popping regularly in the lower tiers. Both great.

Bounty Hunters are epic, but they’ve got nothing on dwarves.
